Do you ever plan to do something nice for yourself, but get too tired, forget about it or keep putting it off? Why should you put yourself last? You have this vehicle, your body, for a lifetime. When you've reached a certain age, you realize that time moves much more quickly than when you were a child. Take the time to notice things around you on your walk: watch a bird, tune into the river, breathe in a little deeper, look in the mirror a little longer, but see yourself, really see yourself. You are worth 5 minutes today. You are worth even more than that! But what do you want to give yourself today that you've been missing out on? Can you take 5 minutes to just sit and stare at the tree or clouds or to journal or breathe?
Is there one thing you want to change? One small thing? Identify it. Are there many things that come to mind? Make a list of a few things or until you run out of things to mention.
I challenge you to start today. Pick one thing from your list and Start right now!
